The Trayvon Martin Case, but not the Travis Alexander case. get it? Media headlines are manipulation.

Would you still say the death penalty isn't appropriate?
We can't imagine how much Travis suffered but it was plenty. He did nothing to deserve this horrible death. I would have no problem giving her the death penalty. I see no mitigating circumstances at all.

I think people are more reluctant to be hard on women, but if they do the crime they should do the time. Same punishment as a man would get. Women can be very devious and cruel. They are not an exception because of their gender or because they may be pretty. Some people are just evil, and she's one of them.
Look, Jeffrey Dahmer and Gary Ridgeway got life sentences - are you saying that Jodi Arias is more of a threat to society than they were?

Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer (May 21, 1960 – November 28, 1994) was an American serial killer and sex offender, also known as the Milwaukee Cannibal who committed the rape, murder and dismemberment of 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991, with many of his later murders also involving necrophilia and cannibalism. Dahmer was convicted of 15 of these murders on February 15, 1992 and sentenced to 15 terms of life imprisonment.

Jeffrey Dahmer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

'Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Ridgway is believed to have murdered at least 71 women near Seattle Washington. His court statements later reported that he had killed so many, he lost count. The victims were believed to be either prostitutes or runaways picked up along Pacific Highway South, whom he strangled. Most of their bodies were dumped in wooded areas around the Green River. He would sometimes return to the victims' bodies and have intercourse with them. As part of a plea bargain wherein he agreed to disclose the whereabouts of still-missing women, he was spared the death penalty and received a sentence of life imprisonment without parole.

You have the Nightstalker who tortured and killed scores of women in jail for life.

So what exactly did Jodi do that was so heinous? She was in a relationship with someone she was madly in love with, who was just using her as a kinky sex toy, while telling her at the same time that she was not good enough to marry. Is that a wise thing to do to a woman? If she snapped, does that make her a danger to society? No, but maybe it makes her a danger to self indulgent a-holes that want to use and abuse women.
Different time, different circumstances, different jurisdiction, different jury, different lawyers, different judge, different laws... The list goes on.

And you would have a much better time with Jodi than with Jeffrey or Gary.

Why kill her? It would cost Az more money, besides as long as Jodi is alive, she is a living reminder to all guys, including white fatboy fratboys, that it is wise to watch their backs when your girlfriend wants to bring a camera in the shower, no matter how intelligent, articulate and sexy she is.

Anyone who would kill someone in that manner with such violence and then plan the elaborate escape that Arias did is a danger to society. I don't care what the guy said to her. As far as the Hells Angels scenario it might be an issue of a different state that's softer on crime.
