Eff it! Let them kill each other and have their God sort it out.

We should withdraw out troops and aid from the entire region. They are simply not worth a soldier's life let alone the bribes reguired to "keep then on our side".

I will also point out that whenever one reads a 'new's story' such as this one, to stop and think "Is this true?" and, "If it is true, what is the purpose behind it?"

This may well be a true story (although not for the reason some posters think). I found this interesting article from November 2012:

Egypt Denies that U.S. Troops Will Be Stationed in Sinai

Ah! But perhaps the Egyptian denial was itself not true! Let us wait and see what develops.

However, do not let this discourage you from making up your own theories.
I get it. These are American "peacekeeping" troops learning non-lethal tactics for use in the most volatile region of the world.

Why not just put big bulls-eyes on them?

The National Guard - Multinational Force and Observers (MFO)

We have had US troops rotating in and out of the Sinai area since 1982, in accordance with the 1979 Camp David Accord. The troops are part of the Multinational Force and Observers, which consists of 13 different countries.

What makes this 'new' story different is the report that said new deployment are trained in riot control. I believe they anticipate some rioting as they attempt to keep the Border closed so weapons cannot be smuggled in (or out).

Edited to add this link:

I wasn't even aware there were US soldiers in Egypt, but depending on which link you pull up (and it's the Internet, so who knows), they've been in Egypt in small numbers ever since the Camp Davis accords under Carter, mostly in multinational observation posts in the Sinai on the Egypt/Israel border.

That's how it's supposed to work.
NATO is nothing more than One World Government enforcement, the majority of which is guided by the U.S. and Britain.

During their nine-month deployment, soldiers will man posts and checkpoints along the southeast coast of the Sinai Peninsula, where they will observe and report violations of the Egyptian-Israeli peace treaty.

The peacekeeping force, which includes soldiers from 13 nations, was a result of the 1979 Camp David Peace Accords, which were signed by Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, Israeli President Menachem Begin and President Jimmy Carter."
So they are protecting Israel from protesters? Let them send their own guys. What they are doing is training our police to use their tactics, the same that they use on the rock throwers in Palestine.

Legalsea's job is to defend whatever this cabal wants to do, and make excuses for it.
