All Obamacare does is show Obama is in the pockets of insurance companies. He made it so you either buy insurance or you get fined by the IRS. I cant believe people are so stupid and anti republican corporate whatever on the other left and dont see this. Are you blind ? All that I saw was an $80 increase in my healthcare that I cant afford to use.
If Obama cared about the people wed have nationalised healthcare and insurance with 3rd party companies would be an option like Europe but then wed have idiots on the right crying about death panels that don't exist. I mean, insurance companies never tell you they arent going to cover something do they ? :/
Obama is nothing more than elitist who is in corporate pockets, just like the president before him.

Insurance companies didn't write Obamacare, the American Hospital Association did.
Insurance companies don't set prices hospitals do.
Insurance companies don't benefit from Obamacare, Hospitals do.
Insurance policies are expected to go up because the insurance policies now have to cover Infinity dollars of healthcare and not deny anyone and there isn't a way to price for that. The only saving grace for insurance companies is that the actual;l cost for pre existing conditions can be billed to you directly.
53% of the job creators who received tax breaks for about 10 years didn't create that many jobs at all, and amassed greater wealth.
Republicans continue to alienate women and minority voters, and have no solutions to any problems and continue to repeal EPA regulations and attack women's rights.
Perfect leftist speaking points....great job showing just how the left lines up and will bleat anything...
Biggest scam in American history, bar none. My doctor even said that he expects one-third of all hospitals in America will eventually shut down because of this law. It's no surprise that more businesses are struggling --- and will struggle --- in implementing this stupid plan, which is only going to burden Americans, not help them.

Claiming that Obamacare will cause soaring insurance rates is completely fraudulent. If we look at actual insurance rates, they are lower than expected. In the first test case, California, this is the reality:
Based on the premiums that insurers have submitted for final regulatory approval, the majority of Californians buying coverage on the state's new insurance exchange will be paying less—in many cases, far less—than they would pay for equivalent coverage today. And while a minority will still end up writing bigger premium checks than they do now, even they won't be paying outrageous amounts. Meanwhile, all of these consumers will have access to the kind of comprehensive benefits that are frequently unavaiable today, at any price, because of the way insurers try to avoid the old and the sick.

Hospitals will do what they have done in the past. Have a high billing price, accept assignment from the insurance companies and write-off the difference. The written off difference is treated as a loss on their corporate taxes. In my area of the state we've had little population growth. Yet we've had two medical parks open up and two more hospitals pop up within the last few years. Its a great convenience to actually walk into a doctors office and see a doctor at the appointed time.
The cost of Insurance policies have already gone up. The initial out-of-pocket deductibles have been raised. Once one gets past the initial out-of-pocket deductible, then the expenses afterwards dramatically drop. And the copayments have gone down. There is a certain test I have done twice a year due to my overseas work. Last year my co-pay was around $33. This year it has been around $5. I have another one that was 26.40 last year and is 1.40 this year.
California Obamacare premiums: No ‘rate shock’ here
By Sarah Kliff, Published: May 23, 2013 at 2:29 pm
Health insurers will charge 25-year-olds between $142 and $190 per month for a bare-bones health plan in Los Angeles.
A 40-year-old in San Francisco who wants a top-of-the-line plan would receive a bill between $451 and $525. Downgrade to a less robust option, and premiums fall as low as $221.
These premium rates, released Thursday, help answer one of the biggest questions about Obamacare: How much health insurance will cost. They do so in California, the state with 7.1 million uninsured residents, more than any other place in the country.
Multiple projections expected premiums to be relatively high.
The Congressional Budget Office predicted back in November 2009 that a medium-cost plan on the health exchange – known as a “silver plan” – would have an annual premium of $5,200. A separate report from actuarial firm Milliman projected that, in California, the average silver plan would have a $450 monthly premium.
Now we have California’s rates, and they appear to be significantly less expensive than what forecasters expected.
