President Bush and other Republicans warned Congress multiple times that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were going to implode due to the misguided aggresive enforcement of the Community Reinvestment Act that began in the Clinton Administration. President Bush called for reform and was rebuffed by the Democratic controlled Congress.
Democrats in Congress caused the recession, which you would know if you actually were interested in learning historical facts, rather than imbibing and then regurgitating LWNJ propaganda that you hear on MSNBC.

Youtube has a policy where if a comment gets enough dislikes it's counted as spam and the comment itself is covered up, so people don't have to come across the stupid ramblings of racists and bigots.

That was 6 to 7 years ago. Recessions usually happen every 5 to 7 years and we're ready for another 1, the difference we NEVER came out of the last 1 IMHO.

We do not go into a recession every 5-7 years and the recession we are working our way out of was the worst recession since the Great Depression.
