Sure...if you say so. Got a problem with that?

You worry about your vote, and I'll worry about mine.

I'm convinced some of this "curiosity" is resentment.

I wonder if it affected ANY white colleges? Oh, wait, we don't have any because we can't have any.

This shows how very little you know about HISTORICALLY BLACK COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES(HBCU). The keyword being HISTORICALLY. These universities were founded because of the bigoted environment in most places, especially in the South. Blacks were not welcomed in universities in the South, and some universities in other regions were reluctant to accept Blacks. That is why HBCUs were formed. And guess what? If a White person wants to attend an HBCU, he or she is welcomed to attend. HBCU's are open to people of all ethnicities. They are called "historically Black" because historically, they were founded to educate Blacks, when many other universities wouldn't accept them. As for places like Harvard, Yale, and UGA, this is how it works. No one would call them "historically White" because these universities are considered the "default" by many. They are considered "the standard" in this nation. Anything that is considered different from "the standard or default" is named as such.

I don't care about conservative resentment. Hell, I welcome it. Be mad for all I care.

I just wish some people would just admit their resentment. I know the resentment is there. One can smell it, one can see it, but no one will admit it.

HBCUs were struggling BEFORE President Obama came into office. Morris Brown College lost its accreditation in 2002 because of financial problems. This was before the second term of former President Bush. Sports were discontinued in 2003.

1 thing that might be killing the HBCUs is more and more Black people going to "regular" schools, especially the ladies.

Believe it or not, more Blacks want to go to so-called "regular" schools rather than HBCUs. There was a time when most Blacks didn't have much of a choice. Now Blacks have a choice. Blaming all of this on President Obama, in my judgement, shows how little people know about HBCUs.
