I really don't care much for Paula Deen, don't care for the way she cooks and her speech is too afflicted for me, but I think this has been blown way out of proportion. It was a long time ago, I did a lot of stupid stuff 30 years ago that I wouldn't dream of doing today. However, contrary to what she thinks, not everyone uses that language.

But that's your opinion. She was literally fired for saying one word thirty years ago. I'm just not comfortable with the witch hunt feel to this whole thing.
