Of course it's not meant to hurt the elite class, in fact they benefit very nicely by getting much higher profits by having unlimited cheap labor. And in a whole lot more fields than farm work and domestic help jobs that illegals currently hold that they will not be doing once made legal.
Basically, I mean that's going to be the effect. I wouldn't be able to tell you what the intent is. Many of these people will be crying over min wage jobs though, conveniently ignoring policy implications.

In other words, if you are working as a roofer, painter, or McJob you can't expect a raise anytime soon.

Do supporters have anything to say to these workers?

It's about votes.

I think you hit the crux of the problem. All other discussions on here aside, and there are many good points, I think you hit the nail on the head.

Crux of the matter. Repped!!!

What hostility are you talking about? Reporting to a woman? No one appreciating sexist humor? Downloading porn?
I'm going with . . . . reporting to a woman.

You can always tell the guys who have NO idea this is the 21st century and that women are capable of not only being the boss but.... bad news for those guys... enjoying it.
Amen sister. some men just can't handle it.

Just so the women don't whine when they don't get child support from an unemployed man they chose to hook up with, or when all the men they can find to bring home are useless bums who are only there to mooch off them.

What goes around comes around.

What goes around comes around - what? Should we now punish women who are successful?

Believe it or not - not all successful women are hanging around with useless bums. They are usually to be found with a successful man.

Don't hate just because a woman has some success. You should be cheering her on.

The women in my family - my aunts, mostly - had a lot of success and this was back in the '60s and '70s so I grew up assuming it was normal. At least kids today won't encounter the same surprise I later did.

Of course this mostly affects the despised lower classes. The trophy type women will have their choice of trophy type men.

Or this will help achieve the two-class society so many of you seem to want. The elites of course will have two good incomes but the lower class will be filled with women having to work two jobs to support her kids and hoping she can lure in some man who will hang around to babysit her kids and he might if she supports him and buys him enough good video games and beer.

I already see it -- women putting up with and providing all the support for a guy who does little -- and they complain about how he doesn't help around the house, doesn't help with bills because he isn't working and the only reason they seem to keep the guy is because he provides free babysitting for her kids and sex. Doesn't look like all that great a deal for the women.
