If he invades Syria without Congressional mandate I'll be waving the impeachment flag.

No, I would not support a ground troop war with Syria, thankfully Obama hasn't started any new ground wars with any other nation, unlike the last president who seemed to want to invade everyone in the name of democracy.

A president doesn't need congressional approval to invade, he needs it to keep them there. Basically Congress is the ones who fund any military action, if there is no funding, there is no military action.

Though I do hope you were also against the last president when he lead our country into two pointless wars.

Maybe the U.S. Government should have "invaded the T-party." After all, IMO, it's considered the American Taliban ... a group of America-haters.

He doesn't need Congressional approval to invade Canada either, but that has nothing to do with whether it's a defensible policy choice, and it wasn't the question.

When Obama doesn't invade Syria, you'll be expected to sing his praises.

We don't need to be invading any country that's done nothing to the US.

I opposed the Iraq invasion/occupation, I thought a reasonable case was made against Afghanistan but it's been handled poorly. BTW, I also opposed LBJ and Nixon for our needless involvement in Vietnam.
