I don't have a religious affiliation either, and I'm a heterosexual.

What's your point, edward, well, except for your usual anti-gay threads.

I am a straight white male that may believe in god but has absolutely no use for preachers, priests or shaman.

And, what, exactly, were Jesus' words regarding homosexuality??

Well?

Here's a hint:

Spoiler

That's what Jesus had to say about homosexuality.

I also know a number of priests and sisters who support gay marriage and a larger role for women in the church. Note that I said "conservative" catholics, and not the entire church. The scripture you're quoting also speaks to all people of faith, and not just institutions. Institutions are created by people, and lots of times they get it wrong.
I've studied this quote in english, Latin and Ancient Greek. Jesus built a Church and named Peter the head of said Church for when Jesus was no longer physically with the apostles. Jesus actually created a human institution to carry on his work. But this is for another thread...

Ed, I have been reading the bible all night and I haven't come across any page that mentioned homosexual act as being a sin, could you help me out and tell me which page it is on?

And the fact that you interpret it that way is one reason that you're a Catholic. Others don't. The great part is that we're all entitled to our own beliefs.

Your thread could read: Half of all homosexuals are Christians.
Correction, half of openly gay people.

If you include all the closet Christian and Muslim gays, the number of religious gays goes way up.

why would someone spend so much time and effort on a topic that they find immoral and disgusting?

If someone is obsessed with an issue then they have unresolved issues
