Ohio's Gargantuan Anti-Abortion Bill Is Anti-Doctor, Anti-Patient, and Beyond - Alexander Abad-Santos - The Atlantic Wire

Quote:
It doubles the waiting period for a wealth of "misinformation." It makes ultrasounds mandatory, even for rape victims. It fo[r]ces doctors to discuss with their patients a disputed study linking abortion to breast cancer, to introduce them to the myths of "fetal pain," to and tell them how much money they'd lose if they didn't have to perform abortions. Doctors hate it. Republican lawmakers love it. In a year when abortion restrictions have been getting harsher and harsher from the state houses to the U.S. House of Representatives, the so-called Ultrasound Access Act might be the biggest and baddest piece of anti-abortion legislation to make its way through the laboratories of democracy yet.
Republicans, the only way to enforce their pro-life (aka anti-women) agenda, is to LIE to them about what Abortion is, what it does, and spread misinformation and long debunked and unsupported (scientifically and medically) claims.

The best: a victim of RAPE must still get an obtrusive ultrasound, if she wants to abort a pregnancy that resulted from that rape, and forces HER against her will, to listen to a doctor as he describes the procedure, INCLUDING what they may or may not see in the ultrasound.

And i thought the republicans were against "big brother" type legislation.

Abortion stops a beating heart.

Yeah, we get it Arus, you Democrats just want to destroy as many human lives as you possibly can.

At least be honest about that fact, please.

what lives? Fetus are not able to live outside a mother's womb.

so you don't care that rape victims have to be forced into obtrusive, not necessary procedures, just to satisfy a bunch old codgers? You don't care that these women are being lied to (ex abortion causes breast cancer, fetal pain, etc)?

The Democrats have no other resort but to lie.

Witness Arus.

Abortion stops nothing, but a pregnancy that is not wanted, or in some cases, a danger the mother's life, or a fetus who may not live anyway due to medical issues (deformed skull etc).

So far the only people who are destroying human life, are like the republicans in the article. Trying to legislate a woman's reproductive rights. Forcing her to go through unnecessary and unwanted procedures to satisfy a bunch of old codgers, who have NOTHING to do with a woman's pregnancy.

seeing as you posted a lie, it not remotely a fact.

So Abortion does cause Breast Cancer? Can you point us to a credible study that proves this, as this is one of the claims that the BILL says that doctors must tell their women patients who are looking to have an aboriton?

Point to a single lie that I've posted.

You have however, lied in your very first of this thread (abortion stops a beating heart).

So far on this thread the only lie I've seen is your contention that democrats just want to destroy as many human lives as possible.
Don't you ever get tired of proving Bill Maher correct in his theory of the right wing bubble?
Just for your edification, before you post your usual retort calling me a democrat or a liberal, i am neither.

It does.

It also stops a learning brain.
