No one is arguing for the right of asexuals to marry even though they along with heterosexual singles are denied countless federal benefits and rights afforded to married couples.
Know why?
Because it isn't about the benefits and never has been.
It's about changing the meaning of a word and using the power of the state to force this change.
Last I heard, female softball coaches and guys who shop at Bed, Bath and Beyond are still allowed to marry in all fifty states, so it is about sexual practices.
I don't really care about gay issues one way or another but a lot of people are supporters of it simply because its very "hip and trendy" and all their cool friends at the coffee shop do it. Whatever way in which they can further display that they're not conservative right wingers they will get involved in. Some of them like to think they're being rebels and "bucking the system", even though to buck the system right now would mean anti-gay rights, as that view is increasingly less tolerated and not at all the way of the establishment anymore.
What an immature, illogical comment. Is it that hard to believe that people don't agree with the second class treatment of any American?
Maybe some of us are sick of hearing and seeing gay this and gay that, that's being pummeled on everyone through every medium out there. I can't even visit sports sites or tech sites anymore with the gay agenda present. Its everywhere and a lot of people are past sick of hearing about a small minority of people who are abnormal. Enough
Oh you poor thing.
Terrible that you have to hear your fellow Americans demand their entitled rights.
I find it strange that some so called "heterosexual" individuals are preoccupied with gay issues.
As a straight man I don't spend too much time thinking about issues relating to the gay community.
I find interesting that some straight individuals spend so much time and effort focusing on gays, and I was wondering what is the psychology behind this?
Gives one pause to even why these so-called "heterosexual" anti-gay individuals spend so much time thinking of the sexual lives of gay folks, doesn't it?

Yeah? Well, I'm a heterosexual, and I'm not getting "pummeled." And gays seeking rights doesn't affect me one iota, unless it's to make our lives in the U.S. a lot fairer and therefore a lot more pleasant. I hate any form of bigotry. What does "pummel" me is the BS constant whining by right wingers about how nicely the poor live, and how living on welfare is like leading the life of Paris Hilton. Bet that doesn't bother you one bit.
No quotes needed. Homosexuality is absolutely as banal and normal as heterosexuality. Another fact you folks don't like.
When men can have babies, I will agree that homosexuality is "normal."
What you posted is not a fact; it's a distorted opinion!
