You got it!

The Catholic Church does so much "good" - surely they can be allowed a little bit of doing "bad."

The 46-year-old, who has complained that the Vatican refused to reinstate him after he completed his prison sentence, added: “I feel obliged to protect the Holy Church and the Christian community since I am aware of grave facts that undermine their integrity and break canon and penal law.”
The Vatican refused to reinstate a convited pedophile, and then he decided to spill the beans. So the perverts didint want him back???

Some people will believe anything to fit their narative.

It's an organization made up of human beings and many of them are sinners. I hope the church will learn from their mistakes but their mission is the same one it's always been. Fight evil, lead the people and save souls.

Unless a person doesn't believe they have a soul then they're just a smart animal.

Do you ever report the good deeds done by the church? Will you ever start a thread about the Catholic missionaries who have given their lives to help people in China? Poor, miserable people who are being oppressed by their government who have been given the first joy they have ever experienced?

These missionaries knew the kind of danger they were in and they stayed. Many just disappeared (were murdered).

But no, you'll never report those facts. Because you are under Satan's wing, and you many not even know it.

Well, sometimes, it seems, their mission is quite the opposite: Be evil, mislead the people, and damage young souls beyond salvation.

Of course, priests are human - but many these days seem to have a tendency to condescendingly wag their finger at everybody else while doing EXACTLY what they preach against. If you portray yourself as the guardian of all that is good and decent, you will be held to a higher standard. Never mind that "do not molest minors" isn't a particular high standard to begin with...

The Church should have never let gay men into the ministry. They throw in a lot of men who find other men sexually attractive and then let them share a dorm together? It's like the navy and the submarine that came to be known as the "love boat" so many women got pregnant when it went co-ed.

Many straight men gave up trying to be a priest when they saw what was happening in the showers. Sad that the higher ups let it go on. Some of the higher ups are gay themselves.

Priests are suppose to be CELEBATE no matter who attracts them. Plus men who abuse boys are gay pedophiles. You can't say only straight men who abuse girls are pedophiles and not say there are gay pedophiles when boys are abused. That does not compute.

You are more offended by gay men then by the Church protecting pedophiles.

Such Christian behavior of you.

Where in the bible did Jesus defend abusing children??

Actually, many gay priests are telling boys to do what they want, God will understand. That is why our culture is so messed up. Even nuns who are lesbians are giving out the wrong messages to the teens they teach and we wonder why our society is in a mess now.

The Church moves slowly sometimes and too many gays got into the ministry. Now it needs to be cleaned up and I think Pope Francis is the right man to do it.
