Have you actually READ the complaint/accusations against Paula Deen and her brother? It's not a liberal conspiracy for crying out loud. Do your research before making these outlandish accusations that liberals are attacking Paula Deen out of hatred. I frankly don't see "hatred" on this thread for Ms. Deen. I see a lot of over-reaching to make liberals out to be the bad guy here.
The fault lies with Ms. Deen who appears to have done nothing to stop the sick abuses of her brother towards their employees. If liberals and conservatives alike can't agree on that after reading the allegations, then we as a country have bigger problems.
Then why is Jesse Jackson defending her? And other blacks are also including some who have worked with her. I'll take their first hand impressions over yours and others who only suddenly jumped on this anti-Paula Deen bandwagon who didn't seem to care one iota about her racism 2 weeks ago.
Then why is Jesse Jackson defending her and you just now started wanting her destroyed? She didn't just suddenly become a racist if she is one, only a few days ago. She's been around for a while, and suddenly she's of utmost importance to you.
Kind of like any thing the popular media is capable of doing to a populace that no longer has a mind of it's own. She's the racist of the day, even worse than the NFL player who murdered a black man.
I think Jesse Jackson nailed it -- you can get all bent out of shape over some "sacrificial lamb" and feel that you've really done something about racism and then not care one iota about unemployment rates in inner city black youths and the high number of murders being done to them/by them.
