Liberals, where is the outrage? Women under 30 make 8% more than men (wages, Baby Boomers)

Economic advancement shouldn't be a zero sum game. I'm glad women are succeeding in the workplace and in educational attainment. Its about time. Still, society should be concerned about the difficulties boys are having in school vs. girls, the widening gap at college/university level attendance between the sexes and the greater unemployment rate of men in the economic downtown of the last five years. It could be argued that the apparent economic success of women is actually fueled more by a drop in the success of males than an increase in their pay. That's not healthy for society.
Do you have any evidence for that?

With that said, attendance in college is dominated by women in many places.
No one ever claimed women and men should earn equal amounts in DIFFERENT JOBS. The pay equality debate was comparing men and women who worked in the same jobs, and historically women made less than men who held the same position. Your study has nothing at all to do with pay equality.
how about hot female waitress v. not so hot male waiter - NOT equal pay here, as the girl will get way more cash through tips.
Another good example regarding liberal bias - Canadian troops in Afghanistan were instructed to turn a blind eye to the raping and ruining of young boys through recreational sodomy. The liberals had a mantra as far as this so-called war..."We fight so a little girl can go to school" - meanwhile the boys were tossed to the rapist dogs...as if they were of no consequence...This is the liberal mind...where was the outrage when boys were being destroyed?
good post, and that's true.
boys will be boys as they say, ie- they should man up and take it, quite literally in this case.
Reminds me a little of the scene in 'The Shield' when the policeman is forced to give a BJ - imagine it were a policewoman - no way, that would not be allowed.

Woman were never treated with un-equality. That is a myth. People in general will treat others in an unfair manner and it does not matter what sex they are. My mother and sister over achieved in business and life in general and they never blamed a man for anything _ I have two dynamic daughters and they have never viewed men as oppressors...if you are a weakling - you will be taken advantage of no matter who you are or what sex you are. Strong intelligent woman from the beginning of time have always held their own...All feminism is - is the protection and affirmative action that serves weaker females - females not as bright or talented as others. This "equality" thing is designed NOT to bring woman up but to bring the better people down.
They do not choose not to go. They are conditioned and frustrated from going. Over time females in the last twenty years were nurtured as far as education and the progressives did not give a damn about the males...The males were some sort of enemy that were forgotten...and had to fend for themselves. I don't believe that equality has taken place as far as the sexes...I believe that the pendulum has swung so far to one side that females are now the dominant force and have become what supposedly oppressive males once were. It's not fair that young males are seen as less than dogs.
Nonsense, many males, especially rural, took a perverse pride in not being educated. Should we now throw a pity party for their ignorant attitude?
