Hours after claiming that they successfully passed some of the toughest abortion restrictions in the country, Republican lawmakers reversed course on Wednesday and said a disputed late-night vote on the bill did not follow legislative procedures, rendering the vote moot and giving Democrats a bitterly fought if short-lived victory.

Good news for the women of Texas, I hope they continue to push against the men who want government to govern a woman's body.

You already have laws that govern what you can do and not do.
What they are doing is tweeking an existing law.

You have government telling you plenty about what you can and cannot do in society.
It all depends on who you vote into office as to the extent they will use their powers over you.

So are you for government having more control over your body or less?

Depends on who you vote for.

If you're a woman and want government to have less control over your body... Guess you shouldn't vote Republican. If you're a woman for government control of your body... Vote Republican!
