Talking out of both sides of your mouth? Condemning a religion, not the religious fanatics, and then wishing Christians do the same? Do you consider yourself to be a "good Christian"?

I wonder why US fights against Bashar Assad, not against Al-Qaeda extremists?

Exactly. I see NO reason for the West to get involved for either ideological nor pragmatic reasons.

Support a brutal dictator that is hostile towards the US and most of its allies or support brutal Islamist thugs who openly declare their desire to attack the US and the West once they gain power?

How about just hope they somehow kill each other off and leave the rest of Syria alone? Regardless of whatever the US does, it will have negative consequences and will end with horrible (and most likely hostile) people in power.

The best move is stay out it.

Yep... pull up a chair, grab some popcorn and watch the fireworks. Other than that, stay out of it.

And this is what our President and administration are backing ?
This is why we need to lob a few hundred bombs in Syria so they can be in charge ?

Maybe someone needs to show Kerry this instead of a 2003 picture of dead Iraq citizens.
