Well the hearings are ongoing. Dead horse or not, the US was the only one saying "It's the video" for 2 weeks after the terrorist attack on Benghazi.
Congress though thought they could uncover what really happened.
I highly doubt it. CIA secrets stay secret even from Congress especially if it involves arms to Syria which we aren't doing.
Congress seems to think agency heads/employees will talk to them and tell them the truth.
You'd think they would have learned by now based on testimony by General Alexander, Clapper and Lerner that this administration doesn't have to tell Congress a damn thing unless they get caught.
Most people care more about the "party" than the country today.
They don't care if people lied, cheated or are doing things they shouldn't be.
They don't care if corruption is taking over.
They only care that their party comes out looking good.
And I say this about both R and D.
Congress (specifically the GOP house) wanted to make a big deal out of the president calling the Benghazi incident "an act of terror" instead of a "terrorist act."
That's how profound the GOP case is in that little fake scandal.
BTW, did Trump's "crack team of Hawaiian investigators" ('you won't believe what they've found!') ever release those earth shattering findings? Or is Sheriff Joe waiting for the right moment to make them public along with his scientific forensic results of the ongoing examination of the birth certificate?

Benghazi was a planned terrorist attack. That has already been acknowledged.
You would think that we would have known this seeing that Benghazi was a CIA base and even more so if the reports that Benghazi was used as the hub for running arms to Syria were true.
I think it was a covert operation gone bad and the US can't talk about it.
They let the press say Benghazi was an Embassy location when it wasn't.
