Edward Snowden: Villian to liberals, hero to conservatives...

Yes, well I WAS referring to Snowden.

Sue him for damages.

Who's got standing?

What are the actual damages?

Produce the evidence.

Discovery can be such a biatch, especially when the case itself is . . . . Discovery.

Which side would "disclose" first?

Government: Alright, Ed, show us what you got.

Snowden: Show me what you got - plaintiff has the burden.

“Returning to the US, I think, is the best resolution for the government, the public, and myself, but it’s unfortunately not possible in the face of current whistleblower protection laws, which through a failure in law did not cover national security contractors like myself,” said Snowden during his public Q&A session last Thursday." http://rt.com/news/snowden-nsa-indus...interview-208/

The whistleblower protection law was of no help to Manning, either.

At least we have the transparency Obama promised. He should thank Snowden.

The topic is about Snowden. You are the one who keeps deflecting to other topics.

It has been debated since 2001 so it would be strange if no one knew a thing.

Read up about "Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act of 2001".

"The duty of a patriot is to protect his country from its government." - Thomas Paine

With this quote in mind all freedom loving people, regardless of political leaning, should view whistleblower Edward Snowden as a patriot.

Just grant Snowden full immunity in exchange for his testifying against the NSA and Federal Government. Problem solved.

Won't happen. Unfortunately the powers that be don't want their dirty little game exposed.
