So why do liberals talk about throwing money at education all day long, without addressing the breakdown in the family and lack of discipline and structure that people have? No wonder why Starbucks are littered w/ PHd holders! No wonder why my liberal cousin who could quote Chaucer and had a 4.0 gpa in college with all sorts of awards, blames Bush and hung out at occupy Wall Street because he can't get a job paying 150k a year out of college! Liberals just dont get it

What's better than IQ at determining who will be successful?

Why do you Glen Beck wannabes always only post information from News 2.0 and underground blogs? And what's with the exclamation points in thread titles?? And do you think anyone actually cares about your broke cousin? Is he supposed to represent the average well educated person? This thread is so bizarre. Here's some real data for you that shows education pays.

Earnings and unemployment rates by educational attainment

Having a high IQ is useless if you can't control yourself.

If are not so smart and can control yourself to keep yourself in positive situations, that's a good thing.

Makes absolute sense.

The Liberal answer to all social ills is always more money. Every problem we have is because something is under funded.

Discipline and wisdom will always provide success (at one level or another). IQ is great, but doesn't guarantee you anything.
