The Bunkers will be the FIRST place hungry and desparate people will run and seek out. I know that people "think" their Bunker will be a safe haven when the SHTF, but trust me, you'd be better serve hijacking a submarine. This is not Red Dawn people. that was a movie. In real life, your Bunker is a death trap.

the BEST move is to just migrate to Mexico or Canada and live in either the jungles of Mexico or the Cold Mountains of Canada. because Ground Zero(America) will be a death pool

My bunker has the lastest xbox, playstation, a zillion CD's and DVD's, a lifetime supply of diet pepsi and my favorite poster of The Ramones and Charlie's Angels. I'm good to go for World War Z.

Get dozens of guns, a lot cheaper than a bunker.

When TSHTF in Argentina, the roving gangs went out in the country and targeted the survival compounds that rich folks built for themselves. Those were, in many cases, death traps.

The "lone family" model of survivalism isn't very tenable if you ask me.

You can bunker down for a bit but all will have to morph into nomads to survive like our ancestors. History repeats itself many times over and will again. Guns are a necessity but you can only carry so much. Have to be able to adapt to your circumstances. Marines will be the last ones standing most likely and probably a few skateboard punks. They always find a way lol.

They weren't prepared. A good plan would have had a contingency for roving gangs. You need a warning system set up far from the compound and a way to reach out and touch them from about a mile away. For those that don't know, that's a Barrett MRAD chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum.

The fewer people that know about the bunker the safer you are. I'll say it again, Operational Security (OPSEC).
