This is horrible to see the hate in the recent months with the ongoing DOMA issue, now after the supreme court ruling ending the legislation banning freedom of marriage, many of the hate-filled are attacking those that don't agree with their agenda even more.

Authorities said a Maple Grove church was vandalized for the second time in recent months, and police need the public’s help to find out who is responsible.
Pilgrims United Church of Christ was the apparent victim of vandalism for the second time since early June, and it’s believed the motive is that the church is supportive of same-sex marriage. Maple Grove Police said church-goers spotted graffiti on the building, handcuffs on the front door and that the building had been egged again when they arrived for services on Sunday.
There was also the message “Gay pride, No.” on the exterior walls of the building.
Back in June, police said someone threw eggs at the windows and wrote “church of Sodom and Gomorrah” on the exterior walls. Authorities said more vandalism took place just a day later.

There will be an unfortunate backlash. I suggest, out of genuine concern, that gays who have been outspoken for gay rights keep a low profile and back off now that your battle has been won. There are some really angry people out there.

Keeping a low profile is always a good idea in all things, but backing off is the wrong answer. It is essential to retain the advances rather than back off allowing those advances to regress. Allowing the advances to regress defiles the work of the struggle to gain the advance in the first place.

These incident, though, do demonstrate just how important it is for good people and the government to take aggressive and decisive actions when possible to make it clear that such bigoted behaviors are unacceptable.

Backing off is the right answer. Avoid provoking. If violent people are punished it's small consolation to those on which the violence was done.

Provoking people is a bad idea, no doubt. But continuing to stand up for what you believe in and civilly fighting for human rights in general will never be frowned on.

Bravo to the people standing up for their rights or the rights of fellow Americans.

That's not a church. It's a meeting house for homosexuals.

they said the same thing to MLK when "black" churches were bombed.

The actions of terrorists should not effect the lawful actions of good people.

For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them...

A church, meeting house, or someone's living room.

Sorry, but YOU do not get to determine what is a church, and who is a Christian.
I think that this church is doing just as Jesus commanded, Love thy neighbor.
