Yes of course we have, but it wasn't accompanied by draconian voter suppression laws. And we also have never suggested that Presidential elections be changed so that the guy who loses the popular vote wins

Pelosi, Bobby Rush, Shelia jackson lee, Barbara boxer and barnet frank and others owe their careers to gerrymandered districts. Look at al the good they did.

No, Republicans will have the house and will control most of the statehouses they currently have until after 2020. All thanks to gerrymandering. So look for states like PA and NC to vote for Democratic governors and go D in Presidential elections while having strong Republican majorities on the state level. Just look at the craziness going on in NC right now where you have conservative Republicans representing places like Asheville and Raleigh in the state house. Anyone who's ever been to Asheville knows that a deeply conservative Republican is not representing the residents of that city.

Frankly, doing districts by population and not registered voters and race need to be the law of the land. While gerrymandering has been done by both parties what is happening now is a full assault on representative democracy.

Yep, you're absolutely right. It's not like you suggested changing the procedures in the Senate to silence opposing views, right? Oh, wait. You did. Try being less of a hypocrite next time, okay?

I love how the dems of today don't know or want to ignore history.

The dems CONTROLLED the HOUSE for 40 years. let me repeat, 40 YEARS. That is through 4 censuses. And NOW THEY complain about gerrymandering after the dems did it for so long.
