She didnt do anything wrong according to her testimony, therefore no immunity would be needed.

She, like this entire administration, is full of 100% grade A bs.

Immunity is just for criminal prosecution, right? She can still be sued in civil court?

Not using anything she says under immunity in front of congress. Ollie North got off because once he had spilled his guts in front of congress, it became impossible for anybody to convince a judge that they had some other source of evidence for his criminal activity. The doubt simply became overwhelming.

Immunity in front of Congress eventually ends up as a get out of jail free card.

So she's now going to sing like a canary but wants immunity ?
Meanwhile she testified 4 times before saying there was no wrongdoing.

Throw the book at this woman.

She sure can be, civil court won't recognize congressional immunity.

The IRS employees could always just use the Ronald Reagan approach and answer every question from the Congressional panel "I don't recall". Same result without the need for any pesky immunity or invocation of 5th Amendment rights.

What does that have to do with anything?

When you go in front of a hostile Congressional committee, you seek immunity. Even if you are clean as the driven snow.
