What idea? That abortion isn't murder? Simple: life starts outside the womb when the first breath of air is put into the lungs. Unless you can somehow prove that a zygote can breathe prior to its sustainable life stage of development in the womb.

Once the baby is born do you take this kind of chattel attitude also? Clearly the baby cannot support himself after birth either. He needs you to provide food, shelter, warmth, etc.
I guess as long as that child is attached to your time and money (large parts of your life, after all) you should be able to kill him too.
