I have "totally" stayed out of this discussion because like you I could care less also. When the STATE took over marriage, making it a CONTRACT all were doomed. If anyone wishes to be engaged with the STATE as a partner in their relationship, then they have to understand that the STATE is sleeping in their bed with them. Once entered into with the STATE, the STATE will tell you and the one your committed how you can act.

perhaps you should read the bible again. jesus said to follow the laws of man UNLESS they go against the laws of god. since god doesnt have an issue with polygamy, but does have an issue with homosexuality, then when man does have an issue with polygamy and disallows it, god has no objection.

How many times does it have to be pointed out to you folks that everyone does not share your religious beliefs or believe in the bible? And legislation is not supposed to be based on religion. All citizens are not Christians, so laws that all citizens have to abide by should not be based on the religious views of some the population. Why do you all seem to be incapable of grasping that concept?
