"Lucas is working hard to pass a trillion dollar piece of legislation that he's calling a farm bill. But only 20 percent of the funds would go to support farmers," one of the group's radio ads said. "The rest would go to bankroll President Obama's food stamp agenda."

When they have to decide if special interest groups or re-election wins out, it's a crapshoot. That's why you give them competition in the primaries.

Uh oh. Rule #1: never ever break kayfabe.

Looks lke we won't be seeing Rep. Lucas at Summerslam.

Fine by me. The neoconservatives need to be booted right back to where they come from. Bye bye. The party will be 1,000x better without the likes of them. And YES that is what the real fuss is about and why the neocons wanna cut the social programs and thus for their interventionist agenda. Remember that with them people the war cause/defense comes first before anything ( civil liberties/balanced budgets/SNAP etc )else. Good riddence.

right is not destroying the right, some people don't happen to agree with what he is doing or attempting to do. Does an elected official have to be right 100% of the time? It has nothing to do with the right attacking the right, it has to do with a group that doesn't agree with 1 issue.

It is bad. We need the GOP to return. If they can exorcise the crazies and ask them to create there own Nut Job Party and let the rest of us work for the American people, we may be able to get things accomplished. I do not want the Dems to take over everything, but that is preferable to what we have at present. Merle Haggard said it best, the GOP is "rollin' downhill like a snowball headed for hell"..

I agree and thus see my last post for how that is accomplished. Rid the GOP of them and the GOP becomes a 1,000x better.
