Lol! I hope you realize I'm just yanking your chain. I live in a gay Mecca and have lots of gay buddies. I like to go fishing with a gay satellite dish installer and a gay electrician. We go up into the mountains to catch lake trout and northern pike. They're beer-drinking guys, while I'm a Pinot Grigio gal myself.
Hey Bob, I'm going to let you in on something. 27 of your 29 post are about the homosexual lifestyle, that means 93% of your post is about homosexual men. There are so many things to discus on city data but yet you are drawn to the gay threads. It's like you have some kind of obsession. Methinks thou dost protest too much!
You would be surprised at how many gay folks I know who are republican and I don't have one gay friend who is not a christian. We have several gay churches in Tulsa and there is a huge one in Dallas. Most I know are members of the NRA and drive pickups with gun racks in the back, of corse I live in Oklahoma so that is kind a given. A lot of them I know are farmers or ranchers, cops, mechanics, butchers, firefighters, EMTs and military vets. I'm an big ugly pipeliner, and I know of others who are rufnecks, welders and machine operators. In other words we are just like everyone else, we are just trying to get by the best we can
Wow, you really get around in the gay social circles in Oklahoma. I've worked in Oklahoma over 35 years and only knew of one guy on any of my jobs, who was definitely gay. (He had to quit, due to AIDS.) So, yes, I would be surprised, yes, very surprised. But then I'm not very sociable with straights or gays, which helps explain that. And besides that, only by living in Oklahoma City or Tulsa are you quite likely going to come across some gays in Oklahoma.
