Of course they do.

Regardless, a stop in Cuba is plausible if absolutely necessary.

This thread has so much promise for a good discussion but the problem of your [] makes it suspect.

Correct. The US/Mexican border is in Venezuela.

Default We get him wherever he goes

All the U.S. has to do is offer 100k in reward money for any individual(s) or government that turns him over to U.S. authorities. Then pay to publish his photo everywhere.

He's cooked, just like he cooked our intelligence community.

Our country has no credibility in this world anymore, this is quite sad. We rail on China for their invasions of privacy of their people, and now we find out our government does it to us, too. We spy on our European allies as well, with allies like that who needs friends! We are a joke, Snowden uncovered wrongdoing by our government, and for that we charge him with treason- just as China does when people there try to blow the whistle on their government. Funny how that works, how do we save face now? China is laughing at our double standards, and our remaining allies are furious with us! Instead of going and apologizing to those allies and working on assuring them we will stop the stupidity, we blame the guy who let the cat out of the bag and charge him with treason. Unbelievable.
So I hope Snowden gets to his new home in Venezuela or wherever and lives a long happy life, we need to be thankful that he exposed all of the wrongdoings of our government.

And to even more fair, I think that's a fair assessment. Or at least a very reasonable one which properly followed will save many lives. Had we done the same, the Boston bombings would not have happened, and we the taxpayers would not have given a family of terrorist $100,000 in benefits plus how many million will be spent on the piece of trash to try him and (hopefully) execute him?

Russia is a big country. He can fly towards eastern Russia and fly to Venezuela. It won't be any different than an LA -> Sydney Australia flight.

Just like Obama considers all the American people to be terrorists and so spies on us while ignoring warnings about real terrorists living high on the hog on welfare handouts as "refugees" here.
