It would be kind of ironic if some country picked him up to spy on the politicians in the USA now.

Some of the knowledge he picked up spying on the people could be turned around to spy on the evil politicians taking away all our rights.

We wouldn't do anything. All of the jets would just have simultaneous, catastrophic engine problems.

This form of communication is uncontrollable and there is no manual written on who to oppress it - other than shut it down. I remember being in court and a lawyer pulling a few E-mails that I had sent to the other side...The E-mails compromised our position... I said to the judge - Context is of utmost importance - If you are going to present these two E-mails as evidence - then you must present ALL of my E-mails as evidence...There were a hundred of them...You can't just cherry pick one or two sins...You must harvest ALL the supposed sins and present them as one body of evidence- THAT IS JUST TO MUCH WORK for lazy bureaucrats and legal types.

If they want to convict the American people of a crime against the state - they had better present the ten trillion documents or NONE... good luck to the foolish young man Snowden...If I were him I would not have bother trying to change what can not be changed...but youth do feel they can change the world...it's youthful vanity and Snowdens efforts were in vain...
spot on. his efforts are admirable, no doubt, but nonetheless in vain. The system is rigged, and until an unprecedented amount of people realize that, it will continue to be rigged.

I doubt very much that Snowden laughs much these days. He seems to have bitten off more than he can chew..How would you like to be a young guy doomed to exile for the rest of you life if you are lucky? I feel sorry for the guy. I just wish that the authorities were not so harsh with this young idealist. They should just bring him home and reprimand him. What's the big deal? He's just some computer geek who thought that the law and constitution is important...Little did he know that law and the rule of law and the constitution was in a much worse crisis than he could have imagined in his wildest dreams...

What Snowden has done is let a horse out of a barn that has no doors. People should have figured out that governments were not nice right after 9 11 - No one punished the Saudi Arabians for putting up the money and people to slaughter 3000 citizens for sport? They did not go after the Saudis...so why bother with a little guy like Snowden?

The big deal is we are a country of laws. If you let the authorities decide they can just let someone go after they have been charged with a crime, it also means it's OK for those same authorities to go the other direction.

Oh, never mind.

Oh, never mind.
The crime was the unconstitutional spying on the American people that he revealed is going on. The criminals are the politicians who want to destroy him.

I don't know anything about planes. I'm just talking no direct flights from whatever airport he is in to Venezuela according to what I heard on TV. Maybe the Venezuelan head guy can go pick him up in whatever is their equivalent to Air Force One.

His mistake was where he went first.

He doesn't need to get to Venezuela. He needs to get to their embassy.
