OK so a few countries in South America have offered him a place to live out the rest of his life outside of a 6 x 10 cell. But the question is, how will get from Russia to there? The United States has made it clear that any aircraft carrying him will not be allowed to fly over the airspace of any other nation. Not even a Presidential or diplomatic plane. And he has no passport to travel on a commercial plane. There is no way to get from there to there without flying through the airspace of other nations. And there probably is no craft that can fly that distance without refueling. And you can bet American agents are crawling every inch of the Moscow airport keeping an eye out for him. So the only way he gets out is to try and sneak out either on a private plane or in the cargo hold of a commercial plane. Long way to fly inside a box.

The US does not control the air space in the entire world. Snowden also does not need a passport to travel to another country, if that country's head of state personally invited him to his country or was aboard his plane, don't you think?
