No one is demanding "special treatment," and "fetishes" have nothing to do with it.
Many of the same-sex couples getting legally married now -- whether you like it or not -- probably don't even have sex at all. Elderly ones, for example. Does that make them OK in your book, since they're not practicing those nasty "fetishes" and are instead, like most other married couples (including the one you're in, I assume), getting married because they love each other?

It just reflects to me how stupid some politicians are, & how much we, as voters have been screwed over, by having the popular vote ignored in favor of government overstepping its bounds.
Marriage is defined, and has been defined since the beginning of man, as between a man and a woman. You can change the definition, but semantics are symbols, not reality.
You can pretend to have one man act as the woman, or one woman act as the man, but that's like kids playing house - or worse, since it supports behavior statistically proven to be harmful medically & psychologically.
And for children adopted to such childish homo fetish unions, they are legally denied the right to a mother or father...
