Should we start killing all Muslims because a small percentage have done bad things? Or is that going too far for the OP? Just trying to figure out what the boundary is.
When there are 7.1+ billion people in the world, a few would be the way to sum up those extremists. Have you read the Quran from cover to cover? Or the Old Testament Bible? Heck, even the New Testament is full of horrible things.
I've had a history of defending Islam, but I feel need to draw that to a close. Islam needs to evolve with the rest of the world. The Bible condones terrible actions against blasphemers, but Jews and Christians aren't going around stoning people or even advocating for such an action. Muslims need to start doing the same.
The Koran may condone violent things, but it's time for all Muslims to make clear that these actions are archaic and immoral. I can't pretend to know how many already think this, and anyone who tried to pretend they know how many Muslims think what are making it up. Something like this is impossible to know for sure, but what we do know is that Islamic extremism is causing problems in the world. Muslims are the only people who can resolve this problem in a (relatively) peaceful manner. We can't do it. The Chinese can't do it. But they can. They can change the way their religion thinks by preaching a message of love and acceptance rather than superiority and arrogance.
I do believe Muslims can do this, just as Christians did. Christians have blood on their hands from past actions, but just as a convict who has served their debt to society deserves to be forgiven, Christians who have changed their message and deserve to be forgiven. Don't get me wrong, some Christian messages are still pretty bizarre and many probably do believe you need Jesus to avoid going to Hell, but at least their somewhat inviting now. If someone declines a church invitation, it's unlikely anything negative will happen; worst case scenario, you won't get a Christmas card. And while this won't happen in America, denying Islam can get you killed.
The problem is with Islam, and the only people who can resolve the problem are Muslims. I don't believe every Muslim is guilty just by circumstance of birth, but they ALL have an ethical responsibility to speak out against the crimes their fellow Muslims are committing.

Technically yes. The Constitution is a set of laws, but it's for the government, not the people. The government cannot infringe on the right to bear arms or freedom of press or deny a trail. If you are not a citizen, the US government still cannot take away your right because that is an action outside of the government's power, or at least it's supposed to be.
So American Muslims should be deported due to their religious beliefs?
Only the ones that want the Constitution replaced with Sharia Law. We really don't need the likes of the the Tsarnaev brothers, Nidal Hasan, ISIS and Somali fighters in this country in the first place.

"I do believe Muslims can do this"
They can but they need to have a model to rally their selves around. Islam and Sharia in its existing form has shown it is not compatible with non Majority Muslim countries time and time again. A new approach is needed:
Perhaps men like Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi who has called for a religious revolution would be the voice of an Islam that is compatible with the rest of the world.
