This is ridiculous. As a California citizen I'm upset my tax dollars are going towards this. I'd much rather see them going towards granting government power to stop people from smoking marijuana, engaging in homosexual activity and using birth control.
2007 was when Schwarzenegger was governor. Not exactly a liberal. In fact, the article mentioned that one of the democratic state senators even tried to stop the sterilizations.
Do you blame all your problems on liberals? When your dentist said you had a cavity, did you start shouting at him that it was the liberals? When a dog poops on your lawn, do you blame Obama? Oh, see, when one local entity in California does something bad, it's all the "libruls" fault, the entire state is at fault. But when you have a white, racist, Southern cop shoot a black guy, which happens quite often in Tea Party Country, it's not those "damn libruls" or freedom loving Republicans at fault. It's the black guy's fault! See how wingnut logic works?
