According to some on here the girl would be considered a wimp if she didn't confront her rapist with fists.
Thats different! Raping some one is illegal, punching some one because they are following you is perfectly okay, at least according to some on this board.
Most doctor's offices record a person's height every visit, especially growing teens. If Trayvon had been to a Dr recently, and he was taller, as evidenced in the above picture, that information could be used to show Dr Bao only gave an estimate in his report.
The picture can't be used to determine his height. On top of that, he's wearing a hoodie (the clerk isn't) and we don't know the difference in their shoes. To expect us to believe an estimate from a picture taken from a video is more accurate than the coroner's report is crazy. Their was no reason to report his height inaccurately. No one had anything to gain.
It is not a law, but neighborhood watch volunteers are not encouraged to carry weapons. This incident proves that this is wise advice. If GZ was not armed, he most likely would never have left his vehicle, TM would be alive and with his family and GZ wuld not be on trial for murder. This is a given.
Neighborhood Watch Organizer's Guide
Make sure your citizen patrol:
Undergoes training by law enforcement and have their support;
Works in teams;
Wears identifying clothing -t-shirts, caps, vests, .jackets-or reflective clothing or patches;
Never carries weapons of any kind — e.g. guns, black jack, mace, baseball bat, or knives;
Never challenges anyone;
Always carries a pad and pencil, and a flashlight if it is dark;
Is courteous and helpful to residents of the area being patrolled: and
Keeps logs and files reports with the local law enforcement agency.
Most carpenters carry a whole set of tools, most of which would not be considered a burglary tool. What other tool did Trayvon carry? Oh, yeah. A lighter.
LMAO! A lighter! I had no idea that lighters scared big, tough guys carrying guns. I have a flathead screwdriver in my glove box, and always have a lighter on me. I suppose that makes me a dangerous criminal. Judging by the excessive machismo of certain posts, some adult men see danger everywhere and live in a constant state of fear. It's a fact that bullies are also cowards...that's becoming more obvious with every thread. Other posters have no doubt that the most strident Zimmerzombies have never ever done anything even remotely illegal.

You do know he was headed to the store and not out "On Patrol" ?
Most Concealed permit holders keep it with them at all times.
He passed an FBI background check and was licensed to carry that gun. Not illegal at all.
Some of these people are so bent on making him out to be a big, bad, feral thug who was angry, high and looking for trouble. It's sick and these people must have never done one wrong thing as teenagers.
Not this person! I see him as a teenager who thought himself invincible as most do and tougher than he was, again, as many do.
He made a choice that turned out to be very,very bad for himself though could have turned out the other way and he'd be on trial had it not been for a gun.
They each had a decision to make, either could have avoided it but neither did, either could have struck the other but only one did and he paid the price for that decision.
Sad? Yes it is.
Hopefully something good can come out of this like using this case as a learning moment for everyone that doing one stupid thing like going toe to toe with someone you don't know can kill YOU.
Isn't that why they always advise drivers to ignore road rage people?
