Isn't it amazing how many of George's friends, ones that hold him dear and donate to him, have hardly heard any of the tapes, or really paid much attention.
IF martin hit first it would be more of a preemptive strike from someone who you feared for your saftey. you are followed around by a stranger in the dark that confronts you think their intentions are bad, are you gonna just wait until they attack you before you defend yourself? I doubt it.
As close friends of Zimmerman's, they are both financially and emotionally invested in his acquittal. It's a safe bet to assume that anyone who would donate over 3,000 dollars to his defense fund and buy him suits and food would probably be willing to take the stand and lie in his defense.
Would you take an oath then lie on the stand to protect a friend ?
You don't think those old WW2 or Vietnam or Iraq vets don't vividly recall screams of war ?
I'd suggest they never forget those screams.
PTSD.
Having memories of 40-50 old screams on the battlefield and possibility experiencing PTSD because of it makes this witness unreliable regarding identifying his friend on the tape. All screams like that are going to take him back to Vietnam in his head.
2) How long should he expect to live before Martin succeeded in murdered him, given the nature of the ongoing assault?
3) If someone had YOU down on the ground, punching you in the face and nose and slamming your head into the ground and concrete...how long would you lay there and take it before doing everything in your power to stop the attack?
You mean "everything" in your powers such as, for example, screaming to your attacker that you are the neighborhood watch person and that the police are on the way to help??? Unless, of course, you had previously done something or said something which would have convinced the person who was fighting with you that you were an extremely dangerous person who was armed?

Yes. Especially since that seems to be the whole crux of George's defense.
Seems quite odd that His best friend, the author testified that he had only heard George's version the story of that night 2 times...A best friend???
George wasn't charged for how long....And He and his best friend didn't talk about this repeatedly?? Especially after this same best friend testified this am about all the discussions he and George had about self defense, gun buying, how to shot..... Seriously.......
And, his book came out 4months after the shooting?? Seems very fishy to me.

I didn't know that the stolen property had been traced. Got a link to that?
It was in Miami, not Sanford, but here you go:
Quote:
Meanwhile the stolen jewelry from the burglary (PD111021-422483) was sitting on a shelf in the Property Room listed as (2011-11477 “found items) gathering dust.
Until we started digging, and the FOIA requests revealed not only the scheme, but the fact a victim was never made whole with the return of their items.
That is, until now.
Yesterday we contacted Detective Manresa, assigned to the burglary case, of the Miami-Dade Police Department to notify him some of his victims’ stolen items were actually in the Miami-Dade property room: Subject: Attn: Detective Omar Manresa [RE: PD111021-422483 Burglary at XXXX XX XXXXX] Dear Detective Manresa, Per phone conversation of 4/30/13 @ 10:20am regarding burglary incident #PD111021-422483 During the course of research surrounding an internal affairs M-DSPD investigation in March/April of 2012 it coincidentally came to our attention that School Resource Officer Darryl Dunn (Dr. Krop Senior High School) filled out a report of items from a student’s backpack without criminal attachment. The internal documentation used by SRO Dunn only listed the contents of the backpack as “found items” and a burglary tool. He was trying to avoid subjecting the student [Trayvon Martin] to a criminal investigation, therefore no criminal report, nor investigation was initiated. This action by SRO Dunn was taken at the direction and request of former M-DSPD Police Chief Hurley who had advised his officers to avoid writing criminal reports on student offenders; Apparently in an attempt to artificially improve the recorded criminal student statistics. The internal report #2011-11477 never attached the stolen property to the student who was carrying it when searched. The property was taken to the custody of Carmen Gonzalez, Property Specialist, where it was held, and still should be located. The details surrounding this event are outlined in the following sworn affidavits completed by members of the Miami-Dade School Police Department. (they are extensive)
Ah, in playing this recording, Bernie left off the "Is he white, black or hispanic," and went straight to the "he looks black.".
You noticed that also.
