He's not on trial for manslaughter. He's on trial for murder. It's an up or down vote. Maybe, tbe prosecution could have gotten a manslaughter verdict, but they went for the whole tamale. A new cbarge cannot be added by the jury. Or anyone else at this point.

The problem with his tactic is it sounds like he is talking down to the jury. He should be more forceful about the lack of a evidence by the State.
