To me the prosecution was doomed the moment the woman who had once had a concealed carry permit was allowed in as one of the six jurors. There are not a lot of women who have guns, there are even fewer with concealed carry permits. That's a hard-core gun-lover, or a very fearful person, and she is bound to see what George did as self-defense.

It is not murder to use legal deadly force to end the fight. This is not the days where people are challenged to a dual and each side gets matched weapons. Trayvon wrote a check with his fists that is butt could not cash.

That could very well lose him the case. It's way over the top.
It's quite a play to use and could go either way. Either the jury falls for the obvious play asking them to resort to emotion over reason and common sense. Or they are repulsed by the states obvious play asking them to ignore facts, testimony and evidence and only consider emotion. I hope the jury is smart enough to see that, and I believe they are.

You are so wrong. I actually know more women then men who carry.
