One can hope at least one person on that jury has an understanding of self defense. If they convict, seriously, all "good neighbor" laws go out the window. If I see someone suspicious around the neighborhood, oh, well!
Where were the fricken dogs in that neighborhood?

That alone should tell you with 100% certainty who was in the wrong.

Speaking of Good Neighbors, how about John Good? He said Stop It! Then went back inside. What a helpful guy.

When GZ didnt see anyone stopping the one sided assult he paniced and pulled his gun and protected his life. No one knows exactly what he was thinking but him, but if i was in his situation i would want help and in calling for help and no one stopping KM by pulling him off or getting him to stop i would have used any means at my disposal to stop KM.

Thats what happened.

If GZ was intent on shooting him he would have done so before landing on his back or right as he was on his back and it would have been before or just as he started yelling for help. Not after yelling and getting a neighbors attention and long enough for the neighbor to come out of his house, yell at them to stop and go back inside and start calling 911. That takes a few minutes. GZ shot him because he felt he had no other way to stop the assult. It does not matter who started the fight, or who threw the 1st punch. Once someone stops fighting and yells for help he is being assulted and has a right to do what he needs to get out of the situation. He couldnt run so his only means of that was his gun.
So if a 110 lb 16 year old girl starts slapping me in the mall and I yell stop and help and she continues I have a right to shoot her??

If he intervened Zimmerman might have shot him too.
