Still doesn't explain why the prosecutors would agree to a very homogenous jury that was white and conservative unless they had no intention of convicting George Zimmerman all along.

Today is a great day for America and the justice system of Florida, the jury followed instructions to the letter of the law and did what they were supposed to do.

It's only a sad day for people who have let their emotions cloud their judgement.

It truly saddens me how many people think poorly about black people. I mean truly. I know it shouldn't, but this case and the reaction from people about a dead teen is so vile to me.

It's fine if you believe justice was served, but at least have some class and respect.

Wow. One of the prosecutors said they prayed for the truth and justice and he feels their prayers were answered. That is from the PROSECUTION.

I agree. It almost makes me think this whole thing was fixed, although another part of me doesn't believe that.

The bar I was at was stunned. I thought the case was weak from the get go and I think the state was irresponsible bringing this case to trial due to political pressure. Still I take no joy from this case. I feel very sad for the Martin family. The fact remains if Zimmerman had acted like a responsible, capable adult this young man would be alive.

RIP Trayvon

No, it sad that a jury said that it was justifiable to kill a young Black man for walking in the rain and carrying a bag of Skittles.

They wanted women because they were trying to get the lesser charge of murder3 with child abuse. If the judge did nothing else right(she did get more right), she at least got that right and threw it out.
