I have to say a prayer for Trayvon's family tonight! Simple as that! God has final say in every decision.

Remember to remind teenagers you know of that.

Tell them not to confront the creep following them in the dark. Tell them not to ask, "Why are you following me?" No punching. No shoving. Just tell them not to defend themselves.
Bad advice all around, tell them to run away and stay away and NOT go back

You can't be elevated to adult status in the eyes of the law just because you're dead.
Lets say for a moment Zimmerman didnt have a gun. Or didnt shoot Martin. Guess who would be charged with assault? Martin. He assaulted Zimmerman, that is one of the few things we know that happened.

1. Well a gun fits that criteria.
2. Then why have there been several cases where SYG was succesfully used where the victim was unarmed?

California Newsreel - ONE DROP RULE

Quote:
The infamous "one drop rule" dictated that anyone would be considered Black if they had any African ancestry and was given legal saction in many states. One Drop Rule argues that, in practice, Blacks with more European features, lighter complexion and straighter hair, have been favored over those with a more African appearance. Interviewees testify that even today whites seem to feel more comfortable with and give preference to Blacks who more closely resemble themselves.
One-drop rule - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Is Obama black?

He's Not Black - Washington Post

George Zimmerman's great grandfather is black -

George Zimmernman: CNN photo: George Zimmerman's great-grandfather was black - Orlando Sentinel

So, if Obama is black because people want to use the "one drop rule" then the same rule has to apply to Zimmerman, or, as I asked earlier, doesn't this rule apply equally to everyone?

Possibly, 17 year olds aren't allowed to carry guns in Florida.
