I don't think they were convinced of his innocence at least not all of them. Even if they are, this is such a high profile case and I'm sure they would want Trayvon Martin's parents and the public to believe that they thoroughly considered and evaluated all of the evidence before a verdict is reached.
If they were not convinced of his innocence they should not have been on the Jury. As far as they are concerned he IS innocence until that state proves him guilty

Details no, but if the battle was discussed in class and you were a good student, I'd expect that you would know that it happened. Stand your ground isn't rocket science.

Have you ever been mugged, robbed at gunpoint, or simply accosted by a stranger in the dark? I'm just curious. I'm sure I can draw a perfect line down the middle as to those who've been in similar situations and those who have not and where each side falls on this argument.
