This will (hopefully) be the final thread on the Zimmerman trial.

PLEASE refrain from attacking your fellow posters. Stay on topic.

Whatever the outcome, respect the jury's verdict. We were present for things the jury wasn't. They are going to do what they think is right based on what they saw and heard.

The cardboard cut outs shouldn't still be visible behind the defense desk

I know. The defense is so sneaky. And notice that even though there was only a 3 inch height difference between the two, the shoulders of the taller figure are about a foot higher, and the George figure has the shoulders of a child.

The George figure is upright and normal looking. The Trayvon figure is insolantly slouched.

I had to miss the Rebuttal. Is it archived online somewhere?

Thanks

Crap. I caught most of the Defense closing arguments but missed all of the rebuttal. Was hoping to catch up here!

I'll have to watch the talking heads tonight.

I firmly believe that this was merely a case of self-defense. And if it indeed was self-defense, why should a man who simply feared for his life and was thus defending himself be convicted of anything and have to serve jail time??? I find it very hard to believe that this all-female jury is NOT going to wanna do "the right thing" and find some reason to convict Zimmerman of something. I think some of you are vastly overestimating this group of women. If they acquit Zimmerman, they're not gonna want the angry portion of the public to hold it against them. The fact that the court has even considered "lesser charges" says a lot about what it expects for the outcome to be.

Yup.

That's where I can't figure out how/why they would come up w/ guilty.
