People did nothing because the dude that got punched got what he deserved. The puncher should be charged accordingly, and if he doesn't have a prior record, he should be given the lightest possible sentence if found guilty.
Um...it is pretty obvious with the reported language, he was picking a fight.
There are varying levels of insults. If what he (the guy that was punched) said was true, he deserved what he got.
Many of these posters really do believe that you can just say anything to people and you should suffer ZERO consequences because you have "free speech."
Of course, that's not how it is in the real world, but for internet purposes, they're trying to pass off that silly ass opinion as legit. As if smartass drunk bigmouths don't get their face punched in everyday in this country a hundred times a day.
I have absolutely no sympathy for this drunk prick. Here you have a black man sitting down having lunch with his girlfriend when here comes this belligerent drunk stumbling into them. This black man gets up to try and help him out and keep him from falling only to be embarrassed and cursed out with racial slurs! Now I dont wish death upon the drunk but he got what he deserved.
I don't blame the guy for punching him at all. The concern is that people need to understand that humans are much more fragile than we think and a punch in anger can kill someone. It's much more wise to save that for real cases of needing to defend yourself.
I don't say things that make people want to beat me up.
