Oh good lord... I think there are going to be a lot of people who'll be really confused about why they got arrested.
Read for yourself.......closely.

776.012 Use of force in defense of person.—A person is justified in using force, except deadly force, against another when and to the extent that the person reasonably believes that such conduct is necessary to defend himself or herself or another against the other’s imminent use of unlawful force. However, a person is justified in the use of deadly force and does not have a duty to retreat if:
(1) He or she reasonably believes that such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the imminent commission of a forcible felony; or
(2) Under those circumstances permitted pursuant to s. 776.013.

Just one of many cases where this law was adopted. Why did this man have an ice pick to begin with? Who drives with an ice pick at hand? Perhaps, a nutjob? How do we know he is telling the truth, we can't hear another guy's version cuz he's dead! The race is also a factor, and they are quick to attack black people and then claim self defense, but the gun happy redneck nutjobs are killing other white people too so everyone should be concerned. As someone posted in the Zimmerman thread: Florida Man Shoots Pizza Restaurant Patron for Complaining About Slow Service, Tells Police He Was Standing His Ground

Florida man kills door-to-door salesman: I’ll kill anybody that steps on my property Florida man kills door-to-door salesman: I

This craziness needs to stop.
Guess your bumming at the results of your poll.. Sad when a super majority of folks polled believe in something and are not mindless drones of Dear Leader..

There is real evil in the world. It has been here since the beginning and will be here until the end. Passing worthless laws that restrict honest citizens from protecting themselves or their families will do nothing to remove it.. The sooner moonbats realize that the world will never look like their acid trips the sooner we can all move on..

TM and GZ did encounter each other somewhere near the T.
Ergo, if we are to believe Rachel then the only logical assumption is either a) GZ went all the way to the house somehow and then dragged TM back to the T or b) TM turned back.
How did Martin then find Zimmerman? Where was he during that time?

Also, have you ever told someone you were much closer to someplace than you really were when talking on the phone? Everyone does it, it is easy to say that you are at your home when you are still a few blocks away.

But of course with regular self defense law (not SYG), witnesses magically appear out of thin air.

It seems to fly right over your heads that you can lie and claim self defense whether or not SYG exists. These two things really have nothing to do with each other, at all.

None of them know what it means. They'll take the problems that occur with any self defense law, apply them to SYG, and throw a tantrum. All without having a clue in the world what in the hell they are commenting on.

I just don't get it.

No. If you confront your follower with force, you would be shot and your follower would be ruled as self-defense.

True, it is easy for someone to lie and say they were standing their ground if the other person is dead. That is why it is basically a law that allows law abiding citizens to commit murder.
