If I was Zimmerman, I wouldn't be testing your theory walking around in public especially in some areas.
He proved you can pick a fight and kill someone and walk. What's to stop the next punk who wants to make a name for himself and maybe get rich writing a book about it?
So as you are being attacked and having your head slammed into the ground you will try to ask the assailant if he is Zimmerman? Let me know how practical that is when it happens.
You mention if you are in Florida. What if you are right near the state line and aren't sure which state you are in? Would you pull out a GPS to make sure you were in Florida before asking if it were Zimmerman while you were getting your brains smashed?

It doesn't mean that. What you described is second degree murder case.
Your response is disturbing on several levels. He was judged and deemed not guilty. He should be free to walk in public without fear for his life.
That said, to the OP, I agree that he should not fear for his life. The one good thing this trial showed the general public was that the rhetoric utilized by the media was not supported by the facts of the case.
