1. The teens were there first, the shooter pulled up next to them.
2. There is no proof of the teens yelling "kill him" other than the shooters testimony, which changed numerous times.
3. No weapon was ever found. Thinking that someone MIGHT have a weapon does not give you the right to shoot them.
That's why the jury will have to determine if he is telling the truth about the threats and seeing the gun. I understand the suv left the scene for several minutes, enough time to toss a gun.
So, you think it is reasonable that someone would shoot up a car full of teenagers, leave the scene and not contact the police? You don't consider that "hiding?"

The guy is clearly a murderer and it will be up to common street justice to take care of him.

The SUV was running from the idiot that was shooting at them. The went about 100 yards away into a parking lot that is joined to the one they were in, never pulled into a parking space, were in a well lit area, and were seen by other witnesses the whole time who never saw them toss anything out of the car. A witness said that it looked like they were trying to stash something INSIDE the car. The same car that was searched by police on the site, then taken in for processing. No gun was ever found.
The unfortunate fact is that today's society is filled with disrespectful people who text in theaters, play loud music, cut off drivers in traffic, and simply don't care about other people. Instead of shaking their heads and walking (or driving) away, many feel the need to assert themselves.
What people should be doing is exercising self-control.

If that is the case then I'm sure the jury will do the right thing.
Let's see here. A guy puts 10 rounds into a car with 4 people that he says were going to kill him. After shooting up a car he puts the gun back into the glove box and let's his girlfriend walk into the crime scene. He hasn't seen anyone go down at all.
He is a liar.

h
Exactly. And then when the confrontation that they started doesn't go their way they pull out a gun and shoot.
Hotheads like this(and FL is LOADED with them) should leave the guns at home. Because they let the rude behavior that is part of today's society get under their skin.
