Many have the tendency to defend racial profiling as a "rational" practice and usually point to broad statistics to justify it. But they are also typically the first to decry the perception that certain groups receive "special treatment" based on race. But doesn't racial profiling amount precisely to special treatment based on race as well? It seems to me that those who advocate for the interest of "security" while accepting racial profiling as a valid tool do so only at the expense of another's liberty, just as they value liberty only at the expense of another's security.

the question is, how do you prove it is "racial profiling"?
Every minority pulled over for a traffic violation can cry "racial profiling".

Probably the same way you would justify Gender-profiling, weight-profiling, height-profiling, age-profiling, clothing-profiling, or any other profiling.

If a white woman robs a 7-Eleven, it makes sense to "profile" only white women until the suspect is arrested. Why waste police resources looking at black men? You want to filter down the suspect pool as quickly as possible.

Start sending people to jail for profiling and it will stop.

Your using logic and common sense to answer the question something society seems to be lacking.

It is supported by statistics. To deny this is to ignore reality in an effort to appease the gods of political correctness. Facts are facts.

Do you deny that blacks commit a disproportionate amount of crime relative to whites?

Are most acts of terrorism not perpetrated by young Muslim males?

How do you know it works? The studies I've come across actually point to the opposite conclusion.

Do you believe certain people deserve special treatment simply due to their skin color or religious affiliation?
