This Piers seems a lot more exploiting and tabloidy than Larry King..
Also the show has become very politicized
I can see the media has changed and I'm not even that old .
This girl is being made fun of , but it is being served as news and being eaten up.
I can definitely see the media brought race into this case , when there was no evidence or proof of it being a factor.
Newsflash: Everyone involved in this case are newsworthy. This girl is being made fun of out here in cyber space and in social media---adults, presumably, are making fun of a teenager here in this thread. Piers Morgan, however, was NOT one of them. He was not exploiting her. He was giving her a format and opportunity to show a more rounded view of her. For example, how many people here making fun of the way she speaks registered the fact brought out in the interview that she has a speech impediment that needs surgery to fix? The very fact that so many people are willing to jump on the beat-up-Jeantel bandwagon is the very reason her interview was appropriate and necessary to help understand the culture divide in this country.

The sun sets at 5PM in Febuary on the east cost. It would have been pitch dark.

He is a statist pig, a fraud and a liar with a clear anti-gun agenda. Plus he has a TV show with ratings, to boot. She was exploited the minute she accepted to go on that show.
