The US military-industrial complex profits from every war. Perpetual war is their ultimate goal. This is a step in that direction.
How will they justify spending 682 billion dollars of Military budget then? I wish that money was spent in protecting our South border with mexico against illegal immigration.

Hey, those military leaders will all be contractors in the future.
They need to have their retirements secured.
Because people make money when we are at war. Logistics, defense contractors, weapons suppliers, etc., etc.
It's always been about money, stealing someone's resources, or simply the thrill of power.
Usually all three.
Hmmm I thought it was because there are still a few Afghani's that we haven't pizzed off yet. It takes time to pizz off every single person in a country.
