I honestly don't know their position on 17 year olds carrying guns. If they support 17 year olds using guns, why would they be against them carrying them???

If Trayvon would have been armed, and had won a gunfight, the NRA would want Trayvon hung, so, it's a lose/lose situation all the way around.
This is an excellent point from Smiley. After Newton, Wayne LaPierre and the NRA came out blaming the school, the teachers, and pretty much everyone else for not being armed as the reason for the shooting.
Now with the Martin case, they have been completely silent. Why haven't they come out to say it's Martin's fault for not being armed? Could it be because he's black?
Because he was a violent criminal, wanting them to be armed is like wanting a rapist to have a bigger penis. only those with evil intent would wish such a thing.

They do not support carrying concealed guns. Many kids learn to use guns when they are in their early teens and do hunting. My dad taught my brothers to hunt and my one son in law spent hours with his father and uncles hunting in Texas and other states. This is very different than carrying a conceal gun or a pistol period.

No, not numerous but a couple and he was never found guilty was he? TM had several run ins at school that if reported to the police could have given him a record. The school decided not to do anything or that is my understanding.
